Disaster Aid Sign-Up Deadline Extended
The USDA has extended the deadline for applications for federal hurricane disaster assistance until March 30. USDA’s Farm Service Agency’s 2005 Hurricane Fruit and Vegetable Program provides financial assistance to producers who suffered crop production losses, including cleanup costs, resulting from hurricanes Katrina, Ophelia, Rita or Wilma.
