Greening Focus Of Next FCM Meeting
Leading researchers, growers and industry members will come together at the January 10 meeting of the Florida Citrus Mutual Board of Directors to discuss the ongoing fight against citrus greening.
A large portion of the Board Meeting will be devoted solely to this topic, allowing Mike Irey, Tim Gast and Jim Snively of Southern Gardens; Dr. Tim Gottwald of the USDA/ARS; and Dr. Harold Browning of the University of Florida/IFAS to give attendees an update on the current situation regarding citrus greening in Florida. Mike Carrere, chairman of the Greening Protocol Committee will also discuss the committee’s efforts and Dr. Mark Brown will present an update on Florida Citrus Production Trends.
